Bowling: rules and examples

The objective of a round
Complete ten frames and maximise the score. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Check the rules when you are unsure.
The order of play
- Set lane position and power.
- Roll into the rack.
- A strike ends a normal frame; otherwise roll again.
- The tenth can earn bonus rolls.

An example before you play
A strike followed by rolls of 4 and 5 makes the strike frame worth 19. An ordinary frame of 4 and 5 is worth 9. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Consider the next action carefully.
